Play in the shade, not in too deep

Why free games still carry an 18+ rule

Social casino games take their appearance, sound and rhythm from real gambling. Lotus Dune Club is designed only for adults over the legal gambling age and is not directed at anyone under 18. Your age is confirmed on two occasions: on the banner shown when you first arrive, and by a tick when you register.

What you will never see from us

• Offer or promote real-money gambling.
• Offer prizes of real-world value.
• Coins for sale, or any in-app purchase.
• Links to gambling operators or affiliate sites.
• Countdowns or streaks designed to pressure you into returning.

Straight talk from Nuri

A free game may be designed to feel generous, and it tops your balance up at no cost. A real-money game does neither of those things. How you get on here is no guide to how you would get on with money at stake.

Warning signs to look out for

• Sessions that run well past the time you meant to stop.
• Feeling irritable when you stop.
• Playing to escape a mood.
• Sleep, work or people are losing out to play.
• You start looking around for a version that is played for real money.

Keeping play in check

• Choose a finishing time before the first spin.
• Leave autoplay off.
• Take regular breaks.
• Clearing the site’s data resets everything; blocking the site in your device settings stops it for good.
